  • How and why I joined MNYL...

MNYL was recommended to me by a friend who was working with this organization. I visited the office, got recruited and my training began. After my training, I decided to further hone my skills and joined The American College for LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow). I finally succeeded in my ambition and got professionally qualified in this field.

  • My achievements at MNYL are...

    • 2007 - CEO, COT
    • 2008 - CEO, EC, TOT, NILY
    • 2009 - CEO (Council President), EC, TOT
    • 2010 - CEO (Council President), EC, COT, NILY
  • I organize my work by...

I have a proper setup, team and processes in place. I have a dedicated helpline number for my clients to entertain their queries and complaints throughout the week. Every contact with the client is recorded in a database and once the complaint has been resolved, we check back if the client is satisfied. I also have set up a small office for myself at home, apart from the set up that I have in the GO.

  • What keeps me motivated…

It’s the flexibility of work that allows me to do something constructive that result in earning a decent return. My work ethics get defined by the value system my family has brought me up with.

  • A funny incident while I was on the job…

I still remember that I made phone calls from even the labour room right before my delivery, for a premium cheque and the nurses were totally shocked. One interesting fact is that my first key account delivered its first cheque the same day my daughter was born.

  • What my family thinks about me being an Agent Advisor…

My family has been a source of perpetual guidance and support. However, my family would not have approved of my profession if I was to source retail polices or tried to prospect within our friends and family.

  • How I take out time for my family...

I usually try and schedule my meetings during the morning hours when my daughter is in school. I make it a point to be available for my family when ever they need me. My thought here is clear - family comes before anything else.

  • I spend my free time by...

My favourite hobby is painting but due to time constraints, I have taken up photography. I usually spend my free time in parks or near historical monuments clicking pictures. I love swimming and a little bit of reading too.

  • Some interesting facts about myself that most people wouldn't know about...

I was a state level individual champion in swimming from UP. I have also won the Platinum Award for trekking under the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme.

  • An incident when I made a difference in someone's life as an MNYL Agent Advisor...

I still remember the warm hug one jawan’s widow gave me when I had gone to deliver my first claim cheque. She was in tears as if I was sent by God for her and her six-month-old son. That hug changed my outlook towards life and I also realized where God has tried to fit me in His whole scheme of things.

  • My career plans for the future are...

I want to continue working the same way as I have been working till now, upholding the virtues I have been brought up with. I believe in treating each day as a new beginning.

  • My special advice to other Agent Advisors would be...

Listen to your clients, understand their problems and judge their needs wisely. Give your clients a solution they need for their problems.

    Manzil Pe Jinhen Jana Hai,
    Shikwaa Nahi Karte,
    Shikwon Me Jo Ulajhten Hai,
    Paucha Nahi Karte.
